# Tokenomics

$BET is the ecosystem utility token of the BetBase community and betBlox protocol. With build in deflation. All fees generated via protocol payments for services will be used entirely to burn $BET or buy and burn automatically from the open market. 

100.000.000 $BET tokens were minted at genesis and at the time of writing a total of 60,915,683 $BET is left after token burns.
